Pollinators Positively Pollinate Joy, Drawing Challenge

Tammie Lee's drawing challenge this week is...

Have you ever been kissed by a butterfly?     I HAVE!

Have you ever had a butterfly land on your head?    I HAVE!

Have you ever had a butterfly land on your shoe and stay for a visit?    I HAVE!

Have you ever had a butterfly land on your finger?     I HAVE!

Butterflies not only pollinate flowers...

they pollinate joy!

  1. Oh my gosh that's so lovely and so true Renee! Christmas 2014 was in England and we had a hibernating peacock butterfly in the house and we had to hoik her out...you know, be cruel to be kind. So we put her in a wood pile and she survived! Why am I telling you this? Oh yeah, I had her sitting on my finger for the longest time and it was so lovely I didn't want to let her go. And every time I think of it it makes me smile, so yes, def. pollinating joy! x

  2. wonderful drawing. sadly, the only time I've been close to a butterful, was a few inches and they usually flies away before I get to even joy seeing them.

hope you have a lovely day.

  3. so wonderful to have butterflies land on us. i think they might like our salt, but perhaps it is our spirit too. I have a friend that has it happen often, he loves lots of salt on his food. last weekend when i saw my first butterflies of the year (have not seen any more) one landed in my hair, i was delighted.

Your journal page is so lovely, is this the one for your grandchildren?

    1. I actually used pencil crayons for the butterfly and flower! I had no clue until this summer that I could make pencil crayons look like paint!
