"It's a marshmallow world in the winter,
When the snow comes to cover the ground,
It's the time for play, it's a whipped cream day,
I wait for it all year round."
We have had light touches of snow and a few bright sunny days breaking up the monotony of the brown grasses. December 23, the clouds mimicked the snow in our pasture!
"Those are marshmallow clouds being friendly,
In the arms of the evergreen trees,
And the sun is red like a pumpkin head,
It's shining so your nose won't freeze."
"December has produced some very gorgeous prairie skies here in Southern Alberta.
Marshmallow clouds, don't you agree?
Surprisingly, I spotted a spider journeying through the icy snow!
"The world is your snowball, see how it grows,
That's how it goes, whenever it snows,
The world is your snowball just for a song,
Get out and roll it along."
My husband made this wreath out of barbed wire from our fence and horseshoes from a friend of ours!
May you have a positively whipped cream year in our Marshmallow World!
