It's Positively Hot!
It's positively hot in and out and what better way to spend the day out of the sun than to spend the day indoors with the windows wide, the fans working their hardest to move the still air, the music playing peacefully and painting a picture? I decided to give watercolour painting a canola field one more time after reading the comments of some two of my followers. Michelle, this is dedicated to you! This time I spent more time using more colours and showing more details to intrigue the viewer a bit more. You may recognize the painting from a photograph I posted on Monday. As I was painting, it was such a relief to get a little rain shower. My flowers are beginning to yellow and droop. I could hear them slurp up the rain and give a rain cheer! My dog is even panting in the house! She is staring at me and sending me a telepathic message, "Take me outside, it has to be cooler than in this house!" Well, I've got to go, sweat, drip, drip... I am starting to pant too! I am done with yellow for now, tomorrow I am picking a cooler colour! Men, women, children, it's positively hot!!!!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Terri. H----O-----T....HOT!
ReplyDeleteIt's been WARM here ... not quite 'South of the #9' HOT but we reached 31 ... and my boys and husband are definitely north of the #9 'dudes' ... they were already lil' puddles ... Should be interesting to have them down at the MH Stampede for a few days at the end of the month! LOL! I think my hopes and dreams of moving back there will be ruled out by the 'puddles' in my family! Haha!
DeletePuddles they will definitely be, that is usually the hottest week of the summer, maybe not the best time to do a sales pitch !
