It is Positively Time!
Well, I have been away from blog land a while. I have been busy getting my yard and house ready for summer, and my new classroom ready for the fall. This week I started a new online course called Sketchbook Skool, and finally made time to pick up my art supplies and worked in my journal. In May, I took a watercolour journaling free online line course with the Journal Fodder Junkies and Strathmore art supplies. Now I am filling some of the backgrounds that I made through that course. It is positively time!
The photos at the bottom are of some of the backgrounds that I still need to fill, but I love them just the way they are right now! I never knew there were so many creative things one can do with WATERCOLOUR! Again, it is positively time I learned that watercolour is far more versatile than most people think!
Your colors are wonderful. I am totally inspired.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Beth, I am pleased that you are inspired!

DeleteOh, love those backgrounds! The last two are so beautiful ...
ReplyDeleteThey are my favourite too! They have bright colours like you like!
DeleteI like your expressive drawings of the buildings and the colour of the last two especially:)
ReplyDeleteOrange power!

Circle are a favourite symbol of mine!
DeleteI can tell you're having fun with the watercolors! These pages are funky! ;-) Really fun backgrounds. xx
ReplyDeleteThe backgrounds are so fun to create especially when I do not have a plan or a specific content area in mind to put over top of the background! These kind are so freeing!
ReplyDeleteRenee! I am so sorry to have missed you at the Stampede! I was not there that much but did enjoy the time there a lot. It was a very good experience. Thank you for stopping by. Your journal is very cool. I follow the Sketch book School but did not sign up. It looks like a lot of fun. Your card for "Bops" is awesome as well. How special to receive a hand crafted card! Hope all is well there and you have many projects in the works. :)
